1. I'm having problems viewing the site. How can I fix this?
The site is best viewed with Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher and a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768. To update your Internet Explorer go to: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/. If you need to adjust the text size, at the top of your browser go to VIEW TEXT SIZE.

2. What if I don't have a Paypal account? How can I create one?
PayPal's home page is: http://www.paypal.com. There is a Sign Up link at the top that you can follow, or take this link directly to it: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=registration-run.
If you are a parent, it is imperative that you make all purchases with your paypal account for your child. DO NOT give your child (or anyone else) access to your PayPal account. Giving access to your PayPal account is as good as giving full access to your credit card. The majority of fraudulent orders come from minors using their parent's credit cards or Paypal accounts without permission. If you are a parent and you would like to receive a phone call or email to verify every order that is made with your account, we are happy to do that.

3. I want to pay by credit or debit card. Do I need a Paypal account?
No. Although we process all credit and debit cards through Paypal, you do not need a Paypal account to use them. To order with a credit card, simply click on the 'click here' box above the Paypal login on the checkout screen.

4. How can I be sure that my credit/debit card information is secure?
We use Paypal to process all credit cards because it is safer for us and for you. Paypal employs industry-leading software to ensure the privacy of each transaction. In addition to that, Paypal never provides us with your card number; they give us only the payment, and the information we need to complete the order. Your security is important to us. If we ever suspect that an order may be fraudulent we put the order on hold until we can call you to confirm it.

5. What information should I include with my payment?
The more the better. If you are paying by PayPal or by credit card, we would appreciate if you include your confirmed address and phone number. Please select 'shipping is required' at checkout to include this information with the payment. This helps us weed out the fraudulent orders. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to confirm your identity. If you're paying by one of the alternate methods, we will ask you for all the information we need in an email. We will never use personal information for purposes other than verifying the integrity of your order.

6. Do you accept orders from outside the United States?
Yes, we accept orders from around the world, but keep in mind that all of our prices are listed in U.S. Dollars. We do not accept currency from other countries. Foreign currency sent through Paypal using either your Paypal account or a credit card will be converted automatically. You can calculate the cost in your local currency using the Universal Currency Converter from XE.com.

7. Are the item screenshots exactly what I will be receiving?
For the most part, the screenshots you'll see when you view the thumbnail next to an item are just example photos.  We put them up there to give you a sense of what item you're getting, but most of our items have a range of mods.  Our 400-414% ED Breath of the Dying Berserker Axe, for example, shows 400% enhanced damage, but the one you'll be getting will likely be better.  Additionally, because most of the screenshots are taken with a Barbarian, it is possible that weapon speeds will actually be different on your character. Some swords will show both one and two-handed damage, but always remember that only a Barbarian can wield two-handed swords(Balrog Blade, Colossus Sword and Colossus Bladed) in one hand.

8. I just bought a perfect Call to Arms rune word item, but it's only showing +3 to Battle Orders! What's going on?
Items that grant + to a specific skill are limited to a maximum of +3 if they're being used by a character who already possesses the skill.  Because Barbarians already have the Battle Orders skill, the maximum benefit they can get from a Call to Arms weapon is +3 Battle Orders, even if the item itself has +6.  The item will still give +6 Battle Orders when it is used by another class, and it will display its real bonus as well.

9. How do I know that you will deliver the items to me after I've paid?
This site has been running for over 5 years, and we have established a large number of regular customers.  The site is also a registered and licensed corporation based in California, and it employs more than forty employees in various capacities.  We are the most trusted name in the Diablo 2 business.
Feel free to ask around. If you look at the site, you'll see that it's not something that was thrown together in 20 minutes. This site is entirely database driven and took quite a bit of professional work to complete. We have a live support staff working 24/7. If you need a phone call to convince you, please write to us with your phone number and we'll be happy to place a call to anywhere in the world to make you comfortable. 

10. How will the items be delivered to me?
We will create a mule account to hold the item(s) you ordered. The login and password of this account will be e-mailed to your primary Paypal address, or the e-mail address you provided at checkout. After you have received the email, it is your responsibility to remove the items from the mule account before it expires. Mules expire 10 days after creation if nobody has logged into them so it is important that you get your items right away. Our Live Chat representatives are available 24/7 to help transfer your items to your character.  Please remember that our Live Chat representatives can only meet you to help with in game transfer once you have received an email that your order is ready for pick up. 

11. How long does it take to get my items once I've paid?
Most orders will be delivered within an hour. Some orders may require extra verification which might cause a delay. If we need extra information from you, we will ask. If you have not heard from us within two hours of the time you placed your order, please contact us via the Live Chat button at the top of the screen. We have staff delivering items around-the-clock 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.  Don't forget that we are unable to assist with an in-game transfer of items until the initial delivery email has been sent out.

12. How do I transfer the items to my character from the mule account?
There are a few ways that this can be done.  Here they are in order of safety:

   1. If you have two computers or are using D2loader with two copies of Diablo 2, you will have no problem transferring the item to yourself in a game.
   2. If you can't transfer by yourself, simply click on the "Live Chat" button at the top left of the site, and ask one of our representatives to meet you in a game.
   3. If you have a friend who can help you, just get him/her to log on to the mule account and transfer the items to your character in a game. DO NOT trust random people you have met on Battle.net to help you transfer your $100 order. Get someone you know in real life to do this.  We frequently hear about how a customer trusted their Battle.net "friend" to help them transfer their order, only have their friend run off with the items as soon as they were dropped on the ground.
      Although it is possible to transfer alone using a stable, private game, this method is risky. If the game crashes, or if you don't get back to it fast enough, the items will be lost.

Do not under any circumstances attempt to transfer items in a public game, the items could be stolen, or the game could fill up preventing you from reentering.
Items lost transferring will not be replaced.

13. I've decided that I want to transfer my items by myself.  How do I accomplish this?
In the event that you are unable to get a friend or a live chat representative to assist you with transferring, you can actually accomplish the task easily and safely by yourself.  Just follow the simple steps below:

1. Log onto the mule character sent to you via email.
2. Use the mule to create a private game with a password you won't forget.
3. Set a timer or watch a clock, and wait in the game for a FULL six minutes.
4. ***IMPORTANT*** Before you drop any items, leave the game,  and wait in chat for one full minute.  This is the most important step, and it will confirm that you've waited long enough in the game to insure safe transfer.
5. Rejoin your private, passworded game with the mule.  If you get back in, then the game is "stable", and it will not close if you leave it again.
6. Drop all of the items you wish to transfer onto the ground, then log out of the game and go back to the character select screen.
7. Log onto the character who is going to use the items, and return to the private, passworded game to pick up whatever is on the ground.  *Note*  You must return to the game within 3 minutes or the game will close!

14. Are your items duped? Will they be deleted by The Scan?
Absolutely not!  D2legit stands by its name, and this means that everything we sell, from the perfect rune words to the perfect uniques, are 100% legit and perm.  This means that none of our items are vulnerable to the server's anti-dupe scan, and none of them will ever vanish for any reason. 

15. How can I protect my duped items from The Scan?
Even though our site does not carry any duped items, we are happy to offer advice to anyone who happens to own something that is duped.   Here is a short list of what a player can do to insure that their duped items stay safe:

   1. Don't carry duped items around with you from game to game. Keep them on a character you don't often use, or better yet, keep them on a purely storage character.
   2. Do the "temp perming process" immediately before you leave every game.  To do this simply open up a trade screen with any other player, and then cancel the trade by pressing the space bar or the escape key.  *NOTE* You DO NOT need to click your check mark to temp perm, and doing this can actually cause the temp perm to fail!  Once you've cancelled the trade, leave the game immediately.  If you linger in a game after temp perming, you risk a chance of your items being flagged for deletion again.  If you wait in the game for more than a minute after temp perming, you should probably do it again just to be safe.
   3. If your duped item is socketable, simply put it in a socket.  This will hide it from the server's anti-dupe scan, and it will never vanish.
   4. Only buy guaranteed legit items from D2legit.com.

16. Can my character on the USEAST realm use items from the USWEST realm?
No. Items are not interchangeable between realms. A Hardcore character may not use Normal items or vice versa. USWEST characters may not use USEAST items, or Europe Items. Ladder characters may not use non-ladder items. A non-expansion (classic) character may not use expansion items. A character may only use items that exist on the same realm as it does. While you're shopping, make sure that you are ordering items for the proper realm.

17. You don't have an item I'm looking for. Can I put in a request?
Definitely. If you don't see the item you want, just ask! New items are added on a regular basis and it's likely we have what you're looking for or can acquire it quickly.

18. I do not own or do not use the Diablo 2 expansion, Lord of Destruction. Can I still buy and use the items you sell?
Unfortunately no.  All of the items we sell are for use on expansion characters only, we do not carry any items for non-expansion characters. If you are interested in any of the items you see on the site, we encourage you to purchase the expansion. It is sold for less than $20 by many reputable online vendors.

19. Why are some of your items much cheaper than others?
Items these days are many times cheaper than they were four years ago. We charge fair market value for our items, and the prices are always changing.  In most cases, better, harder-to-find items are priced higher.  Most of our items are quite cheap, but a few, mostly perfect versions of uniques and rune word items, are more expensive.  These items are so rare that we have to charge more for them or we would simply sell out.

20. Do you offer bulk discounts?
If you plan on making a single order for $500 or more, and you can pay by a method other than PayPal, we would consider giving a discount.  Submit any questions about this through email.

21. Do you buy or trade items?
We are currently not buying or trading for any items in Diablo 2.  If this changes, we will mention it in the news section of the website as well as updating the information here.

22. Is D2legit.com hiring for any positions?
Not at the moment. If you think you can be of some special service that we haven't thought of, feel free to write to us and explain how you can be of value. We are not looking for magic finders or spammers or anyone to help with email or item delivery. 24. What exactly am I buying?
All items are for Diablo 2 LOD expansion on closed battle.net realms. You are buying the information (a transfer fee) associated with a mule account that has the items you want on them. This information will be emailed to you or for larger orders we may need to contact you first on the phone to verify the order.

25. What is Hybrid runeword?
Hybrid runewords are very much like they sound: a combination of Runewords. The non-rune stats from the first RW item are applied to the rune-only stats of the second for unbelievably godly combination. Let's take a look at an example. Splendor of Rhyme is a hybrid of Rhyme and Splendor. Because Splendor is the first word, its non-rune stats will carry over and stack with those of the runes used to make Rhyme. See below.

Splendor yields these stats:
+1 To All Skills
+10% Faster Cast Rate
+20% Faster Block Rate
+60-100% Enhanced Defense (varies)
+10 To Energy
Regenerate Mana 15%
50% Extra Gold From Monsters
20% Better Chance of Getting Magic Items
+3 To Light Radius

The stats below are excluded because they are from the runes:
Eth: Regenerate Mana 15%
Lum: +10 To Energy

These stats are added in their place:
Shael: 20% Faster Block Rate
Eth: Regenerate Mana 15%

Additionally, you'll notice the level requirement for the item is set by the runes of the second word. In this case, that's a lower requirement down to 29 versus Splendor's 37.

26. Are there any limits for the coupons, Today's Specials, and Deal of the Day?
We do reserve the right to limit the use of our coupons and special offers in anyway we see fit, but it's not something the average customer should worry about! It only really becomes an issue if our stock of an item is running low. We certainly don't want to discourage you from using the discounts we offer!
